We hold an annual bull sale selling 80 bulls. This year it will be held on Thursday 9th July at 1pm. All bulls are sold at auction which can be attended on property and AuctionsPlus live stream.
All sale bulls can be inspected at our Open Day two weeks prior to our sale Thursday 25th June from 10am. Leading up to the sale we regard everyday inspection day so feel free to enquire if our Open Day doesn’t suit.
All sale bulls are photographed and videoed with these loaded early June on our website, AuctionsPlus and Angus Australia sale catalogue pages.
Our sale is held on property and live streamed on AuctionsPlus. Bidding can be done either in person, through a nominated agent or online registration with AuctionsPlus. The bulls are all penned for inspection on sale day with a video auction held at 1pm.
All bulls are examined by a qualified vet inspecting reproductive organs accompanied with a fertility semen test.
All bulls are sold immune ready having been given 7 in 1, Vibrio, Pestivirus, Rhinogard and Bovilus vaccinations. All bulls are also drenched prior to the sale.
We always offer after sale support with any issues treated on an individual basis. We pride ourselves on our client relations and our role in helping them achieve their target goals.
Depending on your program the main economic drivers are calving ease, growth, carcase weight and IMF. For replacement females’ milk and fat cover are always desirable.
Choosing the correct bull for your program can improve your overall productivity thus increasing the value of your base female herd with the correct trait selection and developing a reputation of high-performance livestock.
A lot of time and money is invested in Angus genetics through extensive raw data collection, genomic evaluation and improving trait selection accuracy. By choosing an Angus bull with figures above average for the breed for these traits will certainly help to improve your calving ease, growth and carcase quality in your herd.
Docility is a recorded trait, all our bulls are tested for docility and regularly appraised to have a good temperament. Docility is paramount when choosing sires for our breeding program.
